QUESTION: While I was logged out of womVegas, I clicked on 'URL' on one of my Chat posts (at my city St. Catharines) and I noticed that my ID was not included in the link. Then I logged in, did the same thing, and then the link was there.
I realize that my page should have my ID embedded in the links on the actual page however, it would seem to me that this means there is no flow-through of my ID when other people share my links/posts on their Twitter/FaceBook accounts. Is this true?

HI Bill, Tim will have to answer you on that. The weather is really bad where he lives. Due to to weather he has no internet connection right now. As soon as he can he will answer you on your post. 2012-06-29 19:55:15

Bill, when you click on url your id is only included if you are logged in. if someone comes to your city using that URL with your ID, even if they are logged out, you may get credit as the sponsor when they sign up.
however, if they click around wom vegas for a whlie first they may end up clicking on another sales agent link and lose your id.
to insure your people sign up under you, use the sales pages provided under account and the link #22

Thanks Timothy. I understand about using my promotional links and I am using them daily.
This is the scenario I was referring to:
James Smith (who knows absolutely nothing about womVegas or my city page) does a search for where to eat in St. Catharines and my City Page gets listed in the search results. James ends up in the chat section and sees a funny comment someone made and 'Tweets' that comment.
The link that James Tweets through his own twitter account would not contain my ID. So, my question is... Considering that the link directs people to the chat on my city, does it matter that my id is not in it?
The reason I ask is... there are womVegas ads on my site that (I believe) are automatically populated with my id but, if the link does not contain my ID, is it not possible that I would be losing out on referrals from my own (generic/SEO) traffic.
Honestly, I am just begining to understand a little about SEO, cookies and Link Integrity so I may be way off base - or, not describing the situation clearly. Sorry if that is the case.
